Service of Tenebrae (Matthew Year A) - Maundy Thursday
A Tenebrae service for Maundy Thursday traces the final hours of Jesus through Matthew 26–27, from betrayal and denial to crucifixion and death. Each shadow is marked by responsive prayer and the gradual extinguishing of candles, culminating in the Paschal Candle.
